The story by photographer/filmmaker Simeon Schatz follows a majestic Big Leaf Maple tree making its journey from a bucolic remote meadow outside Scio Oregon, to its new life of rocking audiences by becoming some of the world's best guitars, and pleasing people through expressive refined artworks.

Yes the old Maple in the story was dying, and thanks to Unique Woods of the Northwest and their skilled team this beautiful tree will be made into countless treasures for generations to come.
